The second Evidenced-based Medicine- Training of Trainers was held at Fukushima Medical University School of Medicine, Department of Public Health, Japan, May 12-19, 2012 (including international and domestic travels). This was the second EBM trainer training course co-organized by the Department of Public Health of Fukushima Medical University School of Medicine and University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City. The course was sponsored by the JICA Partnership Program (Local Government Type), and supported by the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Association, Ho Chi Minh City Health Service and Japan Epidemiological Association. The course targeted university lecturers and mid- to senior-level clinical instructors in Ho Chi Minh City, and offered a basic training in managing and teaching epidemiology and biostatistics courses.
